Seine River Cruise - Avalon Waterways - Spring of '23
Our first port after Paris was the port of Conflans (though really, we were docked at Le Pecq). This stop is really just a suburb of Paris - we didn't sail that far the first evening. We had several options to choose from for different excursions. As we were on an Active and Discovery cruise with Avalon, almost all of the options were included - though space was limited on some of them.
We decided to choose the Château de Malmaison which was the home of Joséphine and Napoléon. It was very interesting to see the house restored to how it would have been during the time that they lived in it. Check out the video below to see more pictures and what I thought of this excursion.
